I was recently interviewed in a survey of coin & numismatic experts, with questions dealing mostly with both modern and rare US currency. The opinion questions covered everything from Pennies to dollars, as well as bills and coins which are both in and out of circulation. Overall, the survey produced some interesting results, with 56% of experts predicting that the Penny will be phased out by the US Mint in year 2026, and 28% predicting that the $2 bill will be brought back at some point.
